Help: My ABES

My ABES can be accessed from any page by clicking on the My ABES icon on the right-hand side of the menu bar.

My ABES allows you to set your personal preferences for ABES. You must be a registered user to use My ABES (although you don't have to be a subscriber to use some features).

With My ABES you can:

  • Retrieve and re-run saved searches.
  • Access marked lists of saved records for quick retrieval, downloading and emailing for external access.
  • Set up and manage email alerts and RSS feeds: forthcoming features coming soon to Routledge ABES.

How can I set up alerts?
Soon you will be able to set up an alert or RSS feed from any literary period homepage or core keyword results page when this forthcoming feature is released.

To set up email alerts you must be registered and logged in to Routledge ABES. From the relevant page, click on the link to activate the alert.

To set up an RSS feed, click on the RSS button or link on the relevant page then add the URL generated to your RSS reader.

Once the alerts are active in Routledge ABES, you will be notified to new content that matches your chosen criteria. You can change your email alert preferences at any time through the Create/Manage Alerts tab on the My ABES page. RSS feeds can be managed from within your RSS reader.

Email alerts are sent to the email address you registered under for ABES.

How to save searches and manage saved searches
On the Search Results page, click Save This Search in the top right of the screen. You must be registered to save searches. You can manage your list of saved searches through the Saved Searches tab within My ABES.
